We are ecstatic that Get Up & Fight is a finalist in the 2020 Foreword Indies Book awards. More than 2,000 books were reviewed with over 55 genres - the decisions were tallied by the editorial board. Winners are now being decided by a group of librarians and bookseller judges from across the country.
“The pandemic did not slow down the quality of great books coming from the independent publishing community in 2020. The Finalist selection process this year was one of the hardest our team encountered due to the vast number of excellent submissions,” said Victoria Sutherland, publisher.
It has been a rush of emotions for the Project Rusty team, all feelings are extremely positive and an overall through the roof excitement that Get Up & Fight was selected as a finalist. The top of the industry picking our book, our first book as a top contender total feeling of elation.
