Released on November 24, 2020 to align with the 40th Anniversary of the First Women's World Judo Championships held at Madison Square Garden by our pioneer, Rusty Kanokogi. This event as you will read was a prerequisite for the acceptance of women's judo competition for the very first time in the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, South Korea . In Rusty fashion, we designed this book as a high-end soft cover to honor her amazing accomplishment of pulling off the impossible. This beautiful read is loaded with color photos, including items from the original event, a detailed timeline color coded to match the 80's theme, and foreword by one of the 20th century's most respected and influential athletes and trailblazers - Billie Jean King.

To maintain the integrity of this publication, we utilized a high-end printing company and have been distributing this edition exclusive ourselves. This also allows us to provide a special autograph option by our co author Jean Kanokogi, PhD.
